The second and third best teams in the NFC West face each other tonight, as the Los Angeles Rams are on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. Both teams are 3-1 heading into Thursday nights game. I know it’s easy to say this on a 49ers site, but I don’t think either team is as good as their record. We probably won’t find that out for a few more weeks, but it’ll show.
As long as Seattle continues to limit the amount of times Russell Wilson throws the ball, they’ll limit themselves on offense. I laugh every time the Seahawks run the ball on 2nd & long. The Rams offense is the opposite. Jared Goff hasn’t been consistent, but they’ve been tough to stop on the ground.
Defensively, both teams are “fine,” at best. Each team has a difference maker on the defensive line that can and will bail their respective units out. A loss would be great, but a tie may be even better for the 49ers down the line. So that’s what I’m rooting for.
