Don’t mind me. I’m just here to give you a little tidbit of 49ers injury news before Monday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Do you know that Nick Bosa guy? Well, let me direct you to the injury report, Kyle put up on Thursday. Actually here, I” ll just paste it:
Did not practice: Ford (quad)Staley (fibula)Witherspoon (foot)
Limited participant: Coleman (ankle)
I don’t see one Nicholas John Bosa on that injury report, do you?
Does anyone remember how he was playing while nursing an ankle sprain? I do. He was making rookie lists. Rookie lists while playing with an ankle sprain. He was getting sacks and causing mayhem while fighting an ankle sprain. His limited sample size got him a sack against Tampa Bay and the opportunity to harass Cincinnati and Pittsburgh’s signal-callers. In all, Bosa leads his team with 17 pressures. On a bum ankle.
What the hell is he going to do now that he’s at 100 percent? 49ers fans are probably dreaming of the possibilities. Well, they are hoping he doesn’t get injured again, but then they are dreaming of the possibilities.
This is just a brief but awesome reminder that Nick Bosa isn’t on the injury report. If he could do those numbers with an ankle sprain, Monday night is going to be lots of fun.
And now, back to your regularly scheduled blog.
