Golden Nuggets: The injury bug strikes again

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Sunday, November 10 2019.

Once again, the San Francisco 49ers are dealing with injury issues. The injuries to Kyle Juszczyk, Mike McGlinchey, Ahkello Witherspoon and Joe Staley were a terrible blow, but they are at least accompanied with an assurance they would be back, and happened in a stretch that could (maybe) be manageable.

Now Trent Taylor is pretty much not going to see the field for 2019. George Kittle and Robbie Gould are doubtful for Monday. Awesome. The first few names hurt, but when the 49ers lose one of their best offensive weapons (sorry, Juszczyk), and their kicker (after getting the damn long snapper issue fixed) in a game NO ONE wants to lose, you can’t help but be frustrated.

So George Kittle is doubtful. Trent Taylor is not seeing the field for 2019, and we’re waiting on McGlinchey and Witherspoon. All things considered, it doesn’t seem that bad. You want bad? I think we all know what bad is.

The 49ers just need to get through Monday Night Football with little issues and then they can take this gauntlet of a second half on healthy. This sucks, we can all agree, but we should just continue to tell ourselves, this can be a helluva lot worse. Because we all remember 2018.
