Emmanuel Sanders, D.J. Jones OUT for the second half

The injury bug just won’t go away.

The San Francisco 49ers are having a rough go of things after a strong start to the game. They are up 10-7, but they are going to take the second half without some key cogs.

Wide Receiver Emmanuel Sanders is OUT for the second half. Sanders got hit in the ribs on an incompletion and promptly went to the sidelines and the locker room. We don’t know how severe the injury is, but from experience anything involving the ribs hurts like hell. Deebo Samuel has filled in as a decent option trucking fools, but the rest of the 49ers haven’t been able to catch a cold outside of Kendrick Bourne.

D.J. Jones was the point focus of the 49ers defensive lines’ welcoming party and flattened Russell WIlson on the defense’s first series. He is also out

Finally, linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair is out with a head injury and will be looking for some concussion protocol. So that’s three injuries and 22:30 minutes of football to play.

Come on offense.
