Why don’t we throw our wide receivers under the bus because they did not catch every pass? I think I read an article that said we dropped nine passes. They have not been consistent all season. Jimmy Garoppolo didn’t exactly throw dimes all night but the receivers should have caught them because that is why they get paid.
Perhaps we should throw Jimmy Garoppolo under the bus for not being accurate but he seemed to constantly be under pressure so perhaps we should throw the offensive line under the bus too. Why don’t we throw George Kittle under the bus while we are at it for being injured?
I think I heard something about the linebackers on Seattle figuring out the calls so perhaps they were jumping the short routes and taking away Garoppolo’s quick release outlets? Perhaps we should throw the entire offense under the bus including Kyle Shanahan?
On the other hand, perhaps we should call it what it was, a hard fought loss and move on? Our players fought hard and lost. That happens in the NFL. This is a young team. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes. I think people were so excited about our early success that they forgot we are still a team on the rise and we are going to have games like that. Hopefully we won’t have too many.
