Welcome to Week 11. The San Francisco 49ers get going this afternoon which means we get the morning games to watch. And, of course, there’s really nothing all that great that means anything to 49ers fans.
Well, except for the New Orleans Saints going to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints are one of the few in the way of the 49ers in the playoff race for the precious No. 1 Seed (unless if Seattle doesn’t step aside), so how the Saints play today could be huge for the 49ers in that race. As was shown last Monday, the 49ers have plenty in the division to worry about than playoff seeding, but a first round bye would be helpful with all these injuries they are sustaining.
Beyond that, Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens is going to be a fun one. Since it’s AFC, there’s not much to help/hurt the 49ers, but both teams have been fun to watch this year, that will be a game to eat some pancakes while watching.
If things get bad this afternoon, don’t bother switching the channel. Unless you want to watch New England against Philadelphia, there isn’t going to be much besides the 49ers. Those two A.M. Games should be fun.
And then tonight we get Bears vs. Rams. Have fun.
