Golden Nuggets: No IR help coming for the offense

Kyle Shanahan spoke to the media on Monday and gave us some injury updates. One of the names mentioned was Jalen Hurd. We were previously told that they were going to give him a look and hopefully activate him off of IR soon, but now Shanahan says his status doesn’t look good and it looks like he’ll miss his rookie season. With Trent Taylor already doubtful to return as well, it may be time to look for outside help. I know Deebo Samuel is an emerging threat, but Emmanuel Sanders is banged up, Richie James barely gets any opportunities, and the rest of the receivers are unreliable.

One name that has been floating around is Dez Bryant, and I think that he is actually worth a look. People may not want him because of his personality, but his recent comments about just wanting to contribute in any way make it seem like he has matured, and his past teammates seem to really like him. The time away may have also done him a lot of good by allowing his body to fully recover, as he seems to be moving really well in his workout clips. Other underwhelming receiving options still out there include Aldrick Robinson, Michael Crabtree, and Terrelle Pryor. Is there anyone out there that you want to see the 49ers bring in?
