Golden Nuggets: Which 49ers deserve to go to the Pro Bowl?

A collection of San Francisco 49ers related links for Thursday, November 21st, 2019

NFL: Pro Bowl-NFC Practice Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

If disaster strikes and the 49ers somehow don’t make it to the Super Bowl, there are several players on the roster that do deserve some kind of recognition for how they played this season. Lucky for them, the 49ers have great fans and Pro Bowl voting has begun. I typically try to avoid being a homer and vote for a 49er player at every position, but this team is actually really good this year. We as fans should try to get as many of these players in as possible.

On offense, George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk are the obvious ones, but you should also include Weston Richburg. He has had a great season and is playing like one of the top centers in the league. I’d also vote for Jimmy Garoppolo simply because he is elite on 3rd downs, but I don’t think he has a shot because the general population are sleeping on him. On defense, I think the entire starting defensive line deserve to make it. At linebacker, Fred Warner may not get the PFF grades, but he is a key component of this defense. I’m voting for him. In the secondary, K’Waun Williams is the top rated slot corner, and Richard Sherman has allowed one of the lowest passer ratings in the league. You know what, I’m just going to go full homer here and vote for all of our defensive starters. Also, be sure to give Raheem Mostert some love on special teams. Who do you think deserves to go to the Pro Bowl?
