Bad news for Damontre Moore came out on Monday as it was revealed that he suffered a broken forearm during the game on Sunday night. Moore shined in preseason only to be released during the cutdown to a 53-man roster. When Ronald Blair went down, Moore was brought back and made an immediate impact as he forced a fumble to help seal the game against the Arizona Cardinals. Moore was so excited to be back with the team and really made it easy to root for him, and it really sucks that his return is cut short.
The 49ers, however, have not let injuries slow them down. Lose both starting offensive tackles? No problem. Ahkello Witherspoon goes down after a fantastic start? Emmanuel Moseley has his back. No more Kwon Alexander? Dre Greenlaw has proven solid in his rookie season. Now it is Jeremiah Valoaga’s turn to show what he’s made of. Valoaga was another preseason standout that made his way to the practice squad after the 53-man cutdown. Other players expected to make their return to the field on Sunday include Joe Staley, Matt Breida, Dee Ford, and Robbie Gould. It does make me wonder how much better this team could have been if they were able to field an actually healthy team this year.

The @49ers defense is setting the example of what an elite defense looks like. They've got playmakers on EACH level of their defense, and had one of the best defensive performances we've seen this season.#BaldysBreakdowns #GBvsSF #GoNiners pic.twitter.com/k2NQrYAqRA— Brian Baldinger (@BaldyNFL) November 25, 2019
