It’s Pat’s birthday weekend so let’s give him a break. Let’s try this again.
Lamar Jackson faces Tom Brady in an AFC showdown between the Ravens and Patriots. I wouldn’t be surprised if Baltimore wins this game. New England is undefeated and one of the best teams in the league, but they are not without flaws. Their offensive line has struggled, while Baltimore is very good up front. Like Kyle Shanahan, Josh McDaniels likes to use a fullback. New England lost their fullback, who was a big part of their rushing attack. The Patriots wide receivers haven’t been consistent this season, and Baltimore now has two good cover corners.
The way to slow down Tom Brady and this offense is to get pressure and get in their wideouts faces. That’s what Baltimore does.
On the other side of the ball, the Patriots haven’t seen a quarterback in Lamar Jackson’s stratosphere. Add in the special team’s mismatch, and John Harbaugh being one of the best coaches in the NFL off a bye, I think Baltimore pulls this off.
