Thursday night football thread: Chargers at Raiders

Week 10 kicks off Thursday night with the 4-5 Los Angeles Chargers on the road against the 4-4 Oakland Raiders in an AFC West matchup. The Chargers are one-point favorites with the total at 48.5. Vegas is expecting a 25-24 Chargers victory. Both teams are pretty banged up. If you like points, there should be some in this game. Neither secondary has played well this season. Both teams are below average in points scored per game, but it’d be surprising to see dominant defense in this one unless the quarterbacks are sloppy.

I’ll be sitting this one out. Call it “load management.”
