Ahkello Witherspoon was ahead of schedule at the beginning of October, but about a week and a half ago, the San Francisco 49ers cornerback suffered a setback. On Friday, Witherspoon was on hand for warmups during Friday’s practice. According to The Athletic’s Matt Barrows, Witherspoon worked out with a trainer as soon as warmups ended, and appears to be on schedule to return to action Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.

No practice for George Kittle or Robbie Gould today. Both will be game-time decisions, but I wouldn’t expect Kittle to suit up, despite him saying he’s going to play. This is a huge game with plenty of implications, but it’s November, and you don’t want to risk furthering Kittle’s knee/ankle issues. If this game was played in the second week of January? Then sure, Kittle would give it a go. The team is likely thinking big picture. Kittle may miss next week’s game as well, but his status will be wee- to-week.

Levine Toilolo has battled a groin injury. He returned to practice on Friday. He and Ross Dwelley may have a larger role Monday night if Kittle can’t go. With Kyle Juszczyk likely returning to the lineup, I wonder if we’ll see more of him at tight end. Juszczyk was limited on Thursday.

The team is finishing up practice here, and we should have the injury report within an hour or so. We’ll update once we receive the full practice report.
