We got some fun games to watch this morning! This will be our open thread for the morning games.
The San Francisco 49ers get going this afternoon against the Atlanta Falcons and the good news is, there’s not much else to watch this afternoon. Rams-Cowboys could be interesting for nothing else than to have the 49ers clinch a playoff berth if the Rams lose (assuming disaster happens against the Falcons, which isn’t). On the other hand, I’d love the Cowboys to lose just to throw the NFC East into further disarray and maybe get the NFL to change that stupid seeing rule.
This morning will be fun. First we have the Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans. Mark DVRs for that one. A tied division with 8-5 teams? Sign me up! Broncos at Chiefs could be a fun one also since the Broncos have that quarterback of theirs now. There’s enough time that he could come back to earth with the film the NFL has on him, but enjoy the ride for now.
Two other important games this morning: Seattle Seahawks against the Carolina Panthers. If the Seahawks manage to lose this (very possible) things do not work to their favor as far as the division. The 49ers would have a two-game lead (assuming they beat the Falcons).
And then there’s the Chicago Bears vs. The Green Bay Packers. I don’t know about you, but go Bears! For no reason than that Packers rivalry thing.
