Six 49ers lead their positions in Pro Bowl voting

We will find out Tuesday at 5 p.m. to see who gets in

The sun still rose today. Believe it or not, the San Francisco 49ers are in the 2020 playoffs. That happened. The Niners let a team hang around, and when you do that, they make you pay. That’s what happens in the NFL. When you let an inferior team hang around, you’re asking for it. We see it every week. Losing in December sucks if you’re a playoff team because you feel let down and like you didn’t do enough. New England has lost in December to the Dolphins the past two years. It happens, I promise. It’s all about how you bounce back. We’ll find out the type of team San Francisco is these next two weeks.

Pro Bowl

On Tuesday at 5 p.m. PT, the Pro Bowl teams will be announced. Fan votes have been tallied, and the 49ers have six players that lead their positions in voting, per Omar Ruiz of NFL Network:

  • FB Kyle Juszczyk with 384,200 votes
  • TE George Kittle with 340,624 votes
  • DE Nick Bosa with 358,911 votes
  • DT Arik Armstead with 273,403 votes
  • CB Richard Sherman with 259,476 votes
  • ST Raheem Mostert with 113,638 votes

Bosa has another sack against the Falcons. He has more fan votes than any other defensive player in the NFL. I’m going to go out on a limb and say this won’t be the last Pro Bowl he makes. I love seeing Armstead listed, who made his presence felt as well on Sunday despite not having the sack numbers. This would be Armstead’s first career selection and the same for Mostert. This would be Kittle’s second, Juszczyk’s fourth, and Sherman’s fifth. We will find out the official information on Tuesday.
