We are a little over an hour from kickoff, as the San Francisco 49ers host the Los Angeles Rams. Playoff mode begins now for the Niners, as their quest for the top seed continues. Starting right guard Mike Person was limited all week during practice with a sore neck, but he will play tonight. Richard Sherman and K’Wuan Williams weren’t on the injury report all week. Both cornerbacks will suit up.
I can’t imagine what is going through the hearts and minds of C.J. Beathard’s family with the news they received about his brother. It’s incredibly troubling to receive that type of news about one of your loved ones, but especially during this time of year when it’s supposed to be about family — wishing nothing but the best for C.J. and his family.
Here are the inactives for tonight’s game:
Q.B. C.J. Beathard
RB Jeff Wilson
TE Daniel Helm
WR Jordan Matthews
DE Dee Ford
DT Jullian Taylor
S Jaquiski Tartt
As for the Rams, they’ll be without their starting cornerback Troy Hill and right tackle Rob Havenstein:
T Rob Havenstein (knee)
CB Troy Hill (thumb)
DB Dont’e Deayon
LB Natrez Patrick
S Jake Gervase
TE Kendall Blanton
OL Jamil Demby
