Monday Night Football thread: Green Bay and Minnesota have a divisional battle

This should be a fun one.

Well, the folks at ESPN gave us a good Monday Night Football game and we have a divisional battle between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers. Both teams have double digit wins and have secured playoff spots. The question revolves around the NFC North.

Thanks to the Cardinals, the Packers have a shot at a bye in the playoffs if some things can go their way, one of them being the 49ers losing this Sunday. Meanwhile, the Vikings have turned their season around and can make this whole thing difficult with a win tonight.

I know a lot of you are not high on the MNF commentary, but while that is annoying, this game isn’t. Especially when you compare it to some of the (un)fun contests we’ve been subjected to. ESPN can’t flex games out of MNF so they are kind of stuck with what they have, but bad games with some strange commentary has made a questionable product.

In any case, good luck to those of you in fantasy playoffs. There’s some points to be scored tonight. The rest of us, this will be a fun game.
