The San Francisco 49ers did no practice on December 25 due to the Christmas holiday, but they are still required to submit a practice report on the health of the team or as they call it, “an estimation on the health of the team.” You’ll notice that only one name is still beingheld out of things.
That name is Dee Ford. The 49ers hope to get him back for the playoffs after he’s healed up on that pesky quadricep/hamstring injury.
As for everyone else, they had at least the limited status on them. The big name to worry on is guard Mike Person who has been battling some nagging injuries for a few weeks. Kyle Shanahan has said Daniel Brunskill will be getting the start again in Week 17 while Person continues to recover from his neck condition. With that said, don’t be surprised if you see Person suit up on Sunday as a backup while Brunskill plays a majority, if not all of, the snaps. The 49ers suited Person up in case of emergency last week against the Los Angeles Rams, but he never saw the field.
Jaquiski Tartt is named a “limited” participant, though it’s been pointed out he’s been wearing a blue non-contact jersey. There’s also Deebo Samuel who has a shoulder injury but there hasn’t been anything to suggest he is not playing.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks also had to release their practice reports. Jadeveon Clowney is the name to be watching there. He was a limited participant.
