Golden Nuggets: The “ransacking” of New Orleans

San Francisco 49ers links for Friday December 6, 2019

NFL: Cleveland Browns at San Francisco 49ers Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

The meaning of ransacking is: “go hurriedly through (a place) stealing things and causing damage.” While I did not have that exact meaning in mind, we need to run the ball well and get to Drew Brees often if we want to win.

Having Matt Breida back along with a healthy George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk should really help our running game. Mike McGlinchey starting to look like he did last year does not hurt either.

On the defensive side, we could really use Dee Ford and DJ Jones on Sunday. Jones has stepped up magnificently this year to take control of the middle of the defensive line on early downs and I don’t think New Orleans has an answer for our third down demolition crew of Ford, Armstead, Buckner and Bosa. It is time to burn and pillage.

I want to thank everyone that wished me a happy birthday last week. It was a very busy day so I unfortunately did not get a chance in the comment section. They were much appreciated.
