Pat’s Update: This will be our afternoon game thread
The San Francisco 49ers will be part of that morning game cluster. Why the NFL doesn’t make more of these afternoon games is beyond me, but the good thing is the afternoon games have some fun ones to watch.
In the morning I’d probably tune into the Lions/Vikings game just because I’ve never had negative things about the Vikings. I’d like to see them win, especially with how fun the alliance was with Daily Norseman during the Vikings/Seahawks game.
After that, the morning games are a bit of a letdown. Whoever is stuck with Dolphins-Jets has my sincere apologies. Le’Veon Bell isn’t even playing in the game, so any sort of fun derived from watching it goes out the window. Baltimore Ravens-Buffalo Bills would be a fun one to watch. A really fun one, but that’s int he A.M. cluster so I probably won’t get much of it.
What I’m setting my eyes on is the afternoon game of Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots. That will be a fun game. The Patriots got thumped hard by the Houston Texans in a game where the score was not indicative at all of how things went. I remember Tom Brady getting benched a few years back last time the Patriots played the Chiefs. With the current issues, I’m curious how this one goes. Not to mention the Chiefs and Patriots have become conference rivals with all the playoff stuff going on.
And then there’s the Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams this evening. Go Rams. I will dedicate an entire column to the ‘Ram It’ theme if they pull this off. I know all of you will be fully behind that.
