AAF Week 3 open thread

The third week of AAF Football commences, can they keep things up?

We’re heading into Week 3 of the AAF, and the good teams are starting to distance themselves from the bad teams. For those of you wanting Mike Singletary’s Memphis Express to be in the lead of this thing, they are yet to win a game. They failed to score in Week 1, and then lost their Week 2 matchup against the Arizona Hotshots 20-18. So the fun of Singletary is quickly wearing off.

That leaves us with three other games.

The big game to watch for is Birmingham Iron vs. Atlanta Legends. The game is on Sunday and has what what should be a slobberknocker of defensive proportions. Is it going to be a high-scoring game? Doubt it, but it should be fun nevertheless.

The offensive game to watch will be the first game of the weekend and that’s the Arizona Hotshots vs. the Salt Lake Stallions. They have some of the better offenses in the league and have the makings of a fun game.

Rather than us do a thread for each day, we’re going to make a single thread for both days and bump this back up on Sunday. Enjoy football in late February everyone.
