Golden Nuggets: Welcome to free agency!

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Monday, March 11th 2019

Today begins the open negotiating period for NFL Free agency. What does this mean? Clubs can start talking contracts, interest, etc with player representatives or the players themselves if not represented by an agent.

There aren’t any guaranteed destinations in all of this, but you can definitely get a good look at what’s going on and draw some conclusions within a few hours after things start (9:00 AM PST).

We’ll have a tracker up like usual for you to track all the latest news of free agents and the Niners Nation Twitter feed as well.

Things got going Sunday evening with Dante Fowler being re-signed by the Los Angeles Rams for an additional year. While Fowler isn’t a splash signing per-say, he was an intriguing option to bring to the San Francisco 49ers. This shrinks the pass-rusher pool even further.
