So where do I begin with this? The 49ers have signed a linebacker to compliment Fred Warner. That sounds good, right up to the point where you find that soon-to-be minted 49er Kwon Alexander is recovering from a torn ACL.
Just when you think we are past things.
Is it really as huge as I’m making it out? Probably not. ACLs aren’t the career ending injuries we once thought, but dang. They gave him some cheddar.
And here I was thinking that jack would go to Earl Thomas. Well that didn’t happen. In fact no money went to Earl Thomas. Landon Collins got paid (oh did he get paid) and Tyrann Mathieu is headed to Kansas City, but the cream of free agent safety crop is not.
I was just thinking today, if the 49ers find a way to get Thomas, can trade for Odell Beckham Jr. and Alexander can work out—they got a team here.
Just don’t get Le’Veon Bell. Please no.
