Nick Bosa signed with the San Francisco 49ers roughly 16 minutes or so ago. Since then, the second-round pick signed a contract, per Ian Rapoport.
Samuel and Bosa will now both report to training camp on Friday. Samuel was expected, but Bosa was not. Either way, this is terrific news for the team, so the two rookies don’t miss any time or get behind in their playbooks. These reps will be imperative. The Niners will count on both to contribute early and often.
The total value of Samuel’s four-year contract is believed to be $7,697,356, or very close to that amount, according to OverTheCap.com. That includes a signing bonus of $3,618,076 and a 2019 salary-cap figure of $1,399,519. Once we have more details on the contract, we will be sure to share them.
