I described the San Francisco 49ers preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys as “terribly amazing” and it was a decent description, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have cool plays to take from it, and this is one of my favorites. For a second, I thought Anquan Boldin was back on the field wrestling a ball away from a defensive back, but then I realized we’re in 2019 and that’s rookie wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
Hand in his face but it didn’t matter.

We do it all again a week from tomorrow on Monday Night Football! @19problemz pic.twitter.com/E8EOfDsT61
Let me know if you find a way to pry yourself from watching that video. I sure can’t. It felt very Boldin-esque and I’m well aware I may be the only one who felt that way.
Moving on, there’s one other video to see that will be suitable to close us out for the evening and that’s Jalen Hurd. I’m one of the few that was a bit confused why the 49ers made that pick. Well, I changed my tune the moment he barrelled through Cowboys defenders like a bowling ball for the 49ers’ first touchdown of the night.
And this is a very accurate description:

We may not know how this wide receiver competition is shaking up to, we may not know how the careers of Hurd and Samuel will be when they are in an actual game against first stringers, but one thing’s for sure, the 49ers can walk away knowing they got some potential with these guys.
