Final Score 24-15:
The 49ers are getting out of here with a win.
Broncos find the end zone
After Wilton Speight fumbled, Kevin Hogan ran 24-yards for a touchdown to make it 24-15. Denver tried to go for two, but missed.
Another one
Dontae Johnson gets a gift of an interception, and Nick Mullens throws a perfect pass to Kendrick Bourne on a fade in the end zone. 24-9.
More...POINTS.
Deebo took an end-around 45-yards all the way down to the one-yard line, before Jeff Wilson punched it
We’ve got points!
Raheem Mostert takes in in from 30 yards for a touchdown. He made a nice run, and has had a good night overall. Richie James also had a big gain on a screen pass. 10-9, good guys.
First half scoring update
The Broncos have two field goals and thanks to a 38-yard screen pass to Raheem Mostert, the 49ers now have one as well. It’s 6-3 going into two minutes. The Broncos were able to kick another field goal before the half to make it 9-3.
Wishnowski is making things difficult
We have a muffled punt sent via Punterville.
Jimmy G wasn’t so hot
The 49ers gave Jimmy Garoppolo three series and he has one pass completion and an interception to show for it. To be fair, he doesn’t have his starting offensive line out there and he’s 11 months removed from an ACL tear for his first in-game action, but it was not a good day for the 49ers starting signal caller.
Injury Update:
No George Kittle. No injuries, but Papa said Kwon Alexander and Fred Warner are not expected to play tonight, neither is DeForest Buckner.
We won’t know for sure for a couple of hours, but rumor has it no Kwon/Warner/Buckner tonight.

Jimmy G is supposedly playing 2-3 series, though. https://t.co/1kfLfWEhpG
As I understand it, if it were regular season, George Kittle could play. But he did not practice last week and will not suit up this evening. https://t.co/L7JinjkJe9

Overview
We are back for another week of preseason football as the San Francisco 49ers get ready to take on the Denver Broncos at Broncos Stadium at Mile High. This will be the finale of some joint practices between the two teams. The game will start at 5:00 PM PT and air on ESPN. This means we get to see the Monday Night Football crew of Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland.
Tonight's game will (probably?) be the return of Jimmy Garoppolo who Kyle Shanahan has indicated will get some playing time. Beyond Garoppolo, just who the 49ers plan on playing will be up in the air until we get a full report in a few hours.
The big thing to keep an eye on besides punter Mitch Wishnowsky will be the 49ers wide receivers. Last week was not a great day for Richie James and Dante Pettis, but Jalen Hurd and Deebo Samuel showed a lot of promise later in the game. The C.J. Beathard/Nick Mullens backup quarterback battle will be in full effect so that’s something to keep an eye on.
