The offense got off to a sloppy start on Monday Night, but they finished strong and beat the Denver Broncos 24-15. Last week, Damontre Moore won the coveted “Kory Sheets was our Future” award. An award that honors the best and worst fan post in Niners Nation history. The rules, as explained to me by Fooch, are that a player has to have a monster fourth quarter during the preseason.
Edge rusher Jeremiah Valoaga made it difficult again for the second week in a row. He had a tackle for loss, a sack, and another near sack on the same drive. He also jumped offsides, and that helped Denver keep the drive alive.
LaRoy Reynolds had the big hit. That’s his second splash play in as many weeks. We need something more meaningful than a highlight hit, though.
Enter Kendrick Bourne.
Yes, he had a drop that would have led to points. Bourne caught his other two targets for 27 yards and one touchdown. Bourne played the most snaps out of any wide receiver, at 45. Kyle Shanahan continues to allow Bourne to cement himself on the team. The touchdown was a fine throw by Nick Mullens, and a nice finish by Bourne.

Who would you have given the award to?
