The NFL returns tonight with six games on the schedule. Unlike the previous two weeks, teams’ will play their starters for the majority of the first half, unless you’re Frank Reich and the Indianapolis Colts. The first game on the slate will feature Daniel Jones and the New York Giants against Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals. Jones got a lot of flack during the draft process but has been impressive during two games. That starts at 4 p.m. PT.

The next three games start at the bottom of the hour, where Washington—who recently named Case Keenum the starter—travels to Atlanta to take on the Falcons.

Carolina travels to New England, where Cam Newton will make his preseason debut. Josh Gordon is back, but he won’t play tonight.

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will take on the Philadelphia Eagles, who lured Josh McCown out of retirement.

The next two games kick off at 5 p.m. PT. The Green Bay Packers face the Oakland Raiders. Some of the Arizona Cardinals scouts were not happy with how Jon Gruden and company trying to show them up last weekend. Oakland was bringing the house on defense. They showed Arizona up. I wonder if Oakland will dial it back this week.

The final game is Jacksonville against Miami, which, unless you have a friend on the team, I can’t see why you’d watch.

Let’s enjoy some football tonight, friends.
