If you were planning on hearing about what happened in Monday’s training camp for the San Francisco 49ers, you have come to the wrong place, because the San Francisco 49ers have a much-needed day off.
There’s still a lot we can dissect after what’s happened the last few days. The 49ers haven’t looked too bad this year. There’s still plenty of room for improvement, but something feels right with what’s been said.
You know what I’m talking about? You know when you watch the 49ers or read reports and something feels...well...off? Not this year. You got Jimmy Garoppolo not throwing picks, you got Mitch Wishnowsky making himself a god for Punterville, and Nick Bosa is playing like a man possessed.
Man, this team is going to be something.
To be fair, I think the 49ers need one more year. This is a big development and milestone year. They won’t be 2-14, but they will need one more year. I think in 2020 they are going to be really, really good.
The two things to take from all of this is that this is how long an NFL roster takes to turn over, and Kyle Shanahan can flat out coach.
