Golden Nuggets: Time for the Bengals

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Thursday, September 12, 2019

Now that we’re done with the sloppiness that was Week 1, it’s time to head into Week 2. The San Francisco 49ers head to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals. After that we (finally) get a home game.

That was a pretty bad football game when you think about it. There were a lot of good things to takeaway. It goes back to what Dwight Clark said about the 1980 season, the 49ers are starting to have a lot of success, even if they didn’t win very many games.

We’ve seen the 1-0 start lead to some awful things (Jim Tomsula, Chip Kelly) but it was certainly nice to have a week where the 49ers were with a winning record. Given the Bengals recent struggles, I don’t see why they can’t go 2-0.
