Which Cincinnati Bengals player worries you the most?

Is there a player on Cincy’s roster you feel could ruin your Sunday?

The reason we tune in every Sunday to watch the NFL is that the unexpected continues to happen. We know it’s coming, we don’t know from where. There are several examples we could use from Week 1, but why not use the San Francisco 49ers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game? We were terrified that Mike Evans was going to have a field day, and he finished the game with two catches for 28 yards.

The 49ers run defense was a relative strength in 2018, and the Bucs ran for 121 yards. Also, Vita Vea was the player on Tampa Bay’s roster that would be the biggest thorn in the Niners’ side. Nobody called that headed into the game. That’s what makes watching this sport that will assuredly drive us nuts today and the rest of the season worth it.

What about today? Who on the Bengals will give the 49ers’ issues? I think we’re talking about the wrong wide receiver, and Tyler Boyd is more of a threat against this defense than John Ross. I can see him having success over the middle of the field on play-action. On defense, I’ll go with the obvious. Geno Atkins has been one of the best interior linemen in the NFL since he came into the league ten years ago. He’s a different style than Vita Vea, and that could spell trouble for the Niners interior.
