Golden Nuggets: Can I get a 2-0?

New, comments

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Sunday, September 15 2019

Time for Week 2 everyone. The San Francisco 49ers get going this morning against the Cincinnati Bengals and have a shot to go 2-0. The last time the 49ers went 2-0? 2012, the same season they went to the Super Bowl.

If the 49ers can rack up another win here it can be huge. They need as many of these early-season wins as they can get because no one did them any favors with that schedule of theirs. It’s going to get brutal after the bye and there’s no sign of letting up.

Now, we don’t know what the rest of the NFL is at this point. Maybe things get a bit easier with teams not as good as predicted, but the 49ers need to take advantage of early-season sloppiness like they did against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I do think the 49ers can pull a win out against the Bengals. That defense needs to keep up and Jimmy Garoppolo just needs to let it rip.
