49ers are 2-0 today is a good day

Can they go to 3-0?

Regardless of what happens the rest of the way, the San Francisco 49ers dominated a team in an away game. This is the kind of success you want to see out of the team and indications of progress for the 49ers since John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan took over. Everyone from defense, to special teams, to offense looked good doing it as well.

Take away that awful pick from Garoppolo today and you have someone who was near-flawless. Picking apart a defense and then letting the running game finish the job. Speaking of the running game, I think anyone taking the running game lightly at this point is making a gross misunderestimation.

The 49ers are 2-0 for the first time since 2012. For that, it’s a good day. It’s sure nice that I don’t have to be showing cat videos or anything else to cheer you guys up. Next up is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who might be without their starting quarterback. Even if that’s the case, that game is no gimmie. The 49ers can’t let up.

If the 49ers can get to 4-0, They are in a good position for the brutal stretch of the schedule they will be subjected to. For now, let’s enjoy two wins in a row. We haven’t had that in a couple years.
