49ers are 3-0, they have a lot of work to do, but you know what today was?

It wasn’t pretty, but the 49ers can go into their bye undefeated. Send it.

Well first, let’s check in with our prior overlord, Fooch:

Oh helllll yes.

It wasn’t pretty, and against anyone else, I have to admit the San Francisco 49ers would have lost, in the first half, but Jimmy Garoppolo put the team on his back when he needed to and the 49ers took care of their business. They have a 3-0 record, the first since 1998 when Steve Young was playing QB.

The 49ers now head into their bye week undefeated. When they get back, the difficult schedule begins. I said the 49ers need to be 4-0 to get a chance at a playoff spot and they have one more game to go to prove my point. If they can beat the Browns in Week 5, they have some cushioning to weather the storm against that brutal stretch of schedule.

Until then, we can let our anxiety and blood pressure go down. It might be a bye week, but there’s a lot to unpack from this game and the practices. The 49ers will get Tevin Coleman and Jalen Hurd back (hopefully) when they come back from their break.

For now, hold your heads high and be happy. The 49ers are 3-0. Today is a good day.

Also, Jimmy G is cold blooded.
