Thursday Night Football Thread: Will the Packers stay undefeated?

This should be a good one

The Green Bay Packers being undefeated isn’t surprising through three weeks. The offense being below average is. The Packers hired an offensive-minded head coach that was supposed to be innovative, and get Aaron Rodgers and company back on track. One thing to keep an eye on tonight is how Green Bay’s offense looks after the first 15 or so scripted plays. That’s when their offensive efficiency has taken a nosedive. I know it’s not a popular thing to say considering his legacy, but Rodgers hasn’t been good. He’s missing more throws than ever. That’s another thing to look out for. It’s a primetime game at home, though. That’s usually where he shines.

The Eagles are coming to town down three starters. Carson Wentz may have to play out of his mind again for Philly to pull off the victory. The Packers have the third-best defense, per Football Outsiders DVOA. All of their offseason investments are paying off, and CB Jaire Alexander has turned into a ballhawk in his second season.

The Packers are 4.5 point favorites in this one. I’m just rooting for a competitive game. We should get that with these two teams.
