As the San Francisco 49ers prepare for their playoff run, the big challenge will be keeping the team focused and looking at one game at a time. The 49ers are still a young team, which is why it’s impressive when there’s a different victory speech that seems to get even those playing the game (like us) motivated.
Just like there’s a different way the 49ers seem to win every single week, there’s a different way Shanahan’s speeches come out. Who wouldn’t want to run through a wall for this guy...or Richard Sherman for that matter?
The other thing funny about this? Marcell Harris with a stogie. There’s a part you see him with a cigar in his mouth, and it’s about the funniest image I’ve seen in a long while.
Here’s the speech Shanahan gave the team after the game.
Celebrating the win but the West is not enough.

I absolutely love what Sherman says at the end, “We might be playing these dudes [Seattle Seahawks] again.”
At first, I wasn’t a fan of the idea of playing the Seattle Seahawks a third time as I’m sick of 49ers-Seahawks, but there’s kinda a “best two out of three” mentality there. In any case, these victory speeches are something to look forward to; they are just as diverse as the ways of the 49ers winning.
The West is not enough.
