The San Francisco 49ers are having a great start to the NFC Championship game, but they have just been dealt a blow. Running back Tevin Coleman is being carted off the field with what looks like a wrist/arm injury.
Kyle [Posey] is at the game and he told me it looked like an arm/wrist and “hopefully it’s not broken.” We don’t know for sure what the injury is. The commentary crew said elbow so it’s anyone’s guess. Steph McCarroll (socalisteph) tweeted that it looks like a break to her and she has a history here at Niners Nation of explaining injuries.
Per Kyle, he says it’s a shoulder injury and his return is questionable. We’ll let you know more if it becomes available. Right now that just sucks for Coleman who has been a valuable head in the hydra backfield Kyle Shanahan has established.
To make up for it, Raheem Mostert punched it in a play later. That had to be for Coleman. Here’s hoping it’s nothing serious.
