Go Braves!

We have one game tonight after the Patriots and Broncos were canceled due to COVID. The Los Angeles Chargers travel to New Orleans to face the Saints, who will have Marshon Lattimore and Jared Cook back in the lineup. A touchdown favors the Saints, and the total on this game is down from 51 to 49. The Saints have scored 30 points in three of their last four games. They’ll be without star wide receiver Michael Thomas. Why? Because he punched one of his teammates. Seriously.

The story is pretty hilarious. Malcolm Jenkins called Thomas “slant boy,” allegedly, and that’s how it all started. Thomas is a big factor in that offense, but getting Cook back should allow New Orleans to move the ball. In addition to Lattimore, the Saints will also have Marcus Davenport back, but Janoris Jenkins remains out.

The Chargers have kept it close in all of their games. They’ve lost three games by a combined 15 points. This game feels like one of those where you get down, your young QB makes a mistake, and that’s the ballgame.

Who do you think wins? I’ll be watching the Braves beat the Dodgers.
