We are a little over an hour away from the San Francisco 49ers final three-game homestand against the Los Angeles Rams. For the second week in a row, wide receiver Dante Pettis is a healthy scratch. That’s not much of a surprise as there isn’t a role for Pettis. Unlike last week, Nick Mullens will serve as the 49ers backup quarterback as C.J. Beathard is inactive. Running back Jeff Wilson Jr. was battling a calf injury, and he won’t play tonight. That means undrafted free agent JaMycal Hasty will serve as the 49ers No. 3 running back this evening. The Rams are susceptible to passes underneath, so don’t be surpsied if we see the running backs get a lot of touches in the passing game.
Nose tackle Darrion Daniels is active for the first time this season as the Niners try to add some beef up the middle. Emmanuel Moseley has made it through the concussion protocol. He’ll start in the boundary opposite of Jason Verrett. Here are the 49ers inactives:
QB C.J. Beathard
RB Jeff Wilson
WR Dante Pettis
DL Darrion Daniels
OL Tom Compton
LB Kwon Alexander
CB Dontae Johnson
