Per Aaron Wilson, the San Francisco 49ers worked out three centers: Tony Bergstrom, Evan Boehm, and Ted Larsen. Before the season, it seemed like Larsen could come in and start. He’s been undervalued throughout his career. Some people I trust spoke very highly of Larsen, so I wonder if he’s been injured or father time is catching up to the 33-year old center.
The 49ers received good news as left tackle Trent Williams returned to practice Thursday. That’s a good sign for his availability for Sunday’s game against the Patriots. Jaquiski Tartt was not on-hand during the portion of practice that was available for reporters. Kwon Alexander and Raheem Mostert did not practice. Cornerback Dontae Johnson, who had been suffering from a groin injury, returned to practice in full. Williams and Jeff Wilson Jr. were limited. Having Wilson Jr. healthy may not seem like a big deal, but the Niners will want three runners healthy since Mostert will be out.
Here’s a look at today’s practice report:

RB Raheem Mostert (ankle)
S Jaquiski Tartt (groin).
