The San Francisco 49ers (2-1) will try and make it three wins in a row when they host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4 of the NFL season.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, Raheem Mostert, Richard Sherman, Jordan Reed and Dee Ford are just some of the players the Niners will be missing, but help is on the way.

Superstar George Kittle will be back in the lineup, while receiver Deebo Samuel has been cleared to return, but head coach Kyle Shanahan says the plan to bring him along slowly until he is in game shape.

The Eagles (0-2-1) are dealing with a litany of injuries to their wide receivers, with Alshon Jeffrey, DeSean Jackson and Jalen Reagor. Philadelphia’s offense is is 24th in the NFL in yards per game at 336.3 and sits 27th in points per game at 19.7. The Eagles’ defense only has one takeaway so far this year, but is third in sacks after getting to Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow eight times last week.

This is another big game for the 49ers, who need to keep on winning while their star players heal up from their injuries. This the first primetime game for San Francisco this season.
