The Bears and the Bucs face off against each other this evening

Per Elias, for the first time in NFL history, two starting quarterbacks will face off against each other for different teams after having played against each other in the Super Bowl. That’s going to happen in tonight’s game between the Chicago Bears and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay is banged up and will be without Chris Godwin and Lesean McCoy. Mike Evans, Leonard Fournette, and Scotty Miller are all active, but they’ve been hobbled all week during practice. I’m expecting a low-scoring game in this one, so expect the final to be 48-45.

Both defenses are top-10 units in the NFL. The Bucs opened up as 6-point favorites, but that number is down to 3.5 as of Thursday morning. The total on this game is 44.5, so Vegas is expecting a 24-20 victory for Tompa Bay. Speaking of Tom Brady, how good did he look last week? He threw six touchdowns last week if you count his pick-six. Chicago’s secondary has played well this season, and rookie cornerback Jaylon Johnson is a big reason why. Safety Eddie Jackson remains one of my favorite players to watch. Keep an eye on his aggressiveness tonight.

Who do you believe wins?
