The San Francisco 49ers will keep their slim playoff hopes alive with a win when they heavily favored New Orleans Saints. The Niners are 4-5 coming into this game and will get a much-needed BYE Week following this matchup.

New Orleans is on a roll, winning its last five games, including a 38-3 thrashing of its divisional rivals, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, last week. Drew Brees and the Saints’ offense is getting back on track after getting All-Pro receiver Michael Thomas back into the lineup.

The 49ers will have some reinforcements back as well. Trent Williams, Brandon Aiyuk and Kendrick Bourne will play after missing Week 9 due to the league’s COVID-19 policy. Deebo Samuel and Richard Sherman will sit the game out with injuries.
