The San Francisco 49ers trail the New Orleans Saints 17-10 at the half.

San Francisco should be in the lead, but a muffed punt and terrible penalty call on Kentavius Street allowed the Saints to get their first points of the game.

It looked like the Niners would be able to get a score before half time, but New Orleans stuffed Jerick McKinnon on fourth-and-1 which led to a touchdown by Alvin Kamara.

This is a game San Francisco should be leading, but the roughing the passer call combined with some bad play calling by head coach Kyle Shanahan has cost the Niners going into the break.

The defense is playing well, but the offense needs to do its part if the 49ers want to pull off the massive upset.
