This week’s Thursday Night Football game features two of the San Francisco 49ers’ divisional rivals facing in the Pacific Northwest. First place in the NFC West is on the line when the Arizona Cardinals take on the Seattle Seahawks.
Both teams are led by dynamic quarterbacks. Kyler Murray has been on fire for the Cardinals, leading them to four wins in their last five games, including last week’s thrilling last-second victory over the Buffalo Bills.
The Seahawks are going in the other direction. After winning five in a row to start the year, Seattle has lost three of its last four. Russell Wilson turned the ball over three times in last week’s 23-16 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. As good as Wilson has been over his career, he has struggled in recent years at home against Arizona.
Over the last five meetings in Seattle between the two teams, Wilson’s average QBR is just 24.64, and the Seahawks have lost four of those matchups.
The Cardinals got a 37-34 overtime win over the Seahawks in Week 7. If Arizona can sweep the season series, it will essentially have a two-game lead over Seattle in the standings due to the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Whichever team loses will be two games up on the 49ers. San Francisco takes on the Cardinals in Week 16 and the Seahawks in Week 17.
Which team do you think will get the win tonight?
