The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 5-2 and on the road to face the 1-6 New York football Giants. The Bucs are 13-point favorites, with the total in this game set at 46.5. Tampa Bay will be without wide receiver Chris Godwin. The Bucs will have to wait one more week until Antonio Brown can suit up as well.
The Giants are that annoying team that isn’t very talented, but they manage to stick around in each game. This will be the sixth time in eight games where the Giants have faced an opponent that is in Football Outsiders’ top 12 DVOA. Where does Tampa bay rank? No. 1. New York has PFF’s 32nd ranked offensive line, and they’re missing Will Hernandez, the Giants starting left guard. Todd Bowles has been fantastic at mixing up blitzes this year, so we can expect plenty of pressure in tonight’s game.
The game is supposed to be windy, and with injuries on both teams, this should reflect a low scoring game. The Giants have been a very good run defense as well.
