Before we get to the injury news, Dante Pettis has been claimed by the New York Giants. That seems like a great landing spot for Pettis as the Giants have an open, down the field type of offense. Pettis should be utilized on routes that fit his skillset. I imagine there are a good majority of 49ers fans that will be rooting for Dante. He’ll have to work to crack that lineup, as Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard, and Golden Tate are all healthy and playing.

As for the San Francisco 49ers, it’s been quite the day. The team released their injury report. WR Richie James is questionable with an ankle injury, while safety Jaquiski Tartt is questionable with a groin injury. The team ruled out RB Tevin Coleman, LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, and WR Deebo Samuel. Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle have yet to be placed on the IR. WR Kendrick Bourne has been placed on the COVID-19 reserve list.

For the Packers, LT David Bakhtiari and RB Aaron Jones are questionable. CB Kevin King is out. S Raven Greene and RT Rick Wagner are questionable. Safeties Vernon Scott and Will Redmond are out.
