The struggling San Francisco 49ers will try to get back on track when they “host” the Washington Football Team.

The Niners are coming off a 34-24 loss to the Buffalo Bills and need a win to keep their postseason hopes alive. San Francisco is 5-7 and likely will need to win its final four games if it wants to capture one of the seven NFC playoff spots.

Nick Mullens will make his fifth-straight start at quarterback for the 49ers, while former San Francisco signal-caller Alex Smith will lead Washington.
