49ers place TE Charlie Woerner on the reserve/COVID-19 list; activate four players

Woerner had played the most snaps the season during the past three weeks, with Week 14 being the highest. Woerner played 24 snaps against Washington, which was nine more than the sixth-round rookie had played all season.

The team activated Mark Nzeocha from the injured reserve. He’ll likely play special teams, though I wonder if the team would start Nzeocha at SAM in this game, knowing the Cowboys want to run the ball. That’s unlikely since Nzeocha hadn’t played all season.

With Colton McKivitz and Tom Compton out, Dakoda Shepley will serve as center, while Isaiah Williams will be the swing offensive tackle. Remember, Justin Skule is starting at right guard.
