The season from hell is winding down for the San Francisco 49ers. The team has lost three in a row heading into today’s contest against the Arizona Cardinals.

With Nick Mullens out for the season due to an elbow injury, the Niners will go with third-string quarterback C.J. Beathard, who is making his first start since Week 8 of the 2018 NFL season.

The Niners’ offense will get a big boost with the return of superstar tight end George Kittle but will be without running back Raheem Mostert, who was placed on injured reserve while dealing with an ankle injury.

This game is a big one for the Cardinals, who are trying to lock down the final playoff spot in the NFC. Arizona is 8-6 and sits a game up on the Chicago Bears, but could also move up the standings over the final two weeks.

The Cardinals are a game behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams in the NFC standings.

This is your first half open thread.
