The San Francisco 49ers lead the Arizona Cardinals 7-6 at the half.

Quarterback C.J. Beathard — who is making his first start in more than two years — went 5-of-9 for 87 yards and a touchdown over the opening two quarters. Running back Jeff Wilson Jr. racked up 59 yards on the ground and caught the touchdown pass from Beathard.

The Niners’ defense played well in the first half, holding quarterback Kyler Murray and the Cardinals’ offense to 118 passing yards. The unit had three tackles for losses and a sack in the first two quarters.

The 49ers are trying to end their three-game losing streak.
